Review of My Tuscan Blood Orange Candle from Pacifica

I got this brilliant reddish-orange candle in the classic votive style. It came in a nice glass votive holder. I really didn't know what to expect with this candle because I've never heard of a Tuscan Blood Orange before. The day I got my shipment of Pacifica Candles, I lit this candle and couldn't really notice a distinct smell. I lit it later that night and put it across from where my fiance, Frank, and I were sitting...about 6 feet away from us. I still didn't notice a scent and Frank didn't either. I blew it out and gave up on it in the back of my mind.

As I was writing the rest of this review, commenting on the other 3 candles I really liked, I decided not to include my thoughts on this Tuscan Blood Orange candle. Then, a little voice in my head said to give it another chance. I lit the candle on my end table right next to where Frank and I were sitting. After burning the votive for about 10 or 20 minutes, I still didn't really notice a scent. Then after about 30 minutes, this wonderful orange aroma began to fill the room. As I sat there next to the burning votive or when I got up, left the family room and then came back, as soon as I entered the room, there was this wonderful orange scent. It reminded me of the orange part of a creamsicle.

Last Thoughts On This Scented Candle from Pacifica...

I was really glad I gave this candle a second chance! I underestimated it and like the Mexican Cocoa, it came back to prove me wrong. I don't understand why I didn't notice the scent at first. Who knows! My theory is that it's just a candle where the scent starts out to be mild and then kicks in in a little while. Pacifica's Tuscan Blood Orange candle is definitely worth trying, especially if you love oranges. I know you'll enjoy it, just as I finally did.
