Crosscreek Country Candles

Crosscreek Country Candles is an Ebay store selling a few candle styles but their main bread and butter are melts... lots and lots of glorious and wonderful smelling melts in a ton of different shapes and sizes.  I love when varieties are offered and this store totally delivers.  If you’re a tart lover, your eyes will go buggy and a most horrible affliction will happen to you... you’ll begin to drool and want everything that even remotely sounds tempting... very un-lady-like... but such is the life of tart obsessed fanatics like us.  Nothing we can do but indulge ourselves.

Ebay stores can be a bit confusing and intimidating on top on that.  My main concern was always the multiple buying business and shipping charges.  I never knew if I was going to be charged shipping for each multiple thing I bought and that frustrated me till I got the hang of it.  One thing to always remember is you can always email Ebay store owners as they are more than willing to explain how everything works.  Deana, the owner of Crosscreek is super nice, answers questions right away and even gives you her opinions before you even have to ask.  I can’t tell you how many times I went to place an order and she’d email back saying, “nah, don’t get that scent, you’ll like this much better” and she has always been right on the money!  Every single thing I’ve bought from her I continue to buy...it’s been that awesome.

Now, how many scents does she carry you ask?  The scent list is well over 410!!!  Oh yeah, four hundred and ten scent-a-roo’s!!!  It is SO hard deciding what to order because I can only shove so many tarts in a flat rate box.  Lucky for me, I recently convinced Deana to shove 2 more tart packages (8 grubby gourmet tarts to a pack) in my boxes because I discovered after my last order they’d fit.  LOL!!  36 clamshell packs fit in a flat rate box... can you tell I’m a pro at this?  Oh yeah!!

What Do My Melts from Crosscreek Look Like?

The tarts are the shape of regular scalloped tarts like Yankee but the tops are grubby looking... kind of bumpy and clumpy.  They look really cool and rustic to me.

Pumpkin Log:

I bought this scent on a whim and am so glad I did... I love it!!  Scent description:

“Pecans, cinnamon, cream cheese and vanilla blended with rich pumpkin”

I’m always on the search for a good pumpkin scent and the problem I have is that many different versions have clove in it.  I can’t stand clove and avoid it like the plague.  Pumpkin bread scents are the hardest to find because the majority I’ve tried have clove, gag!  So I’m having one heck of a time finding one I like. I’m sure most of you reading this love clove and think I’m nuts and that’s great, I wish I liked it too but alas... it gives me a headache.

Crosscreek’s Pumpkin Log is as close as I’m ever going to get to pumpkin bread and I’m perfectly content with that.  I am in love with this scent!  The whole mixture is wonderful and totally works.  I can smell all the ingredients and to me, it smells just what I would imagine pumpkin bread to smell like (I’m weird).  The scent throw is medium plus.  One tart fragrances multiple rooms and is a nice rich and warm scent to me.  Very yummy and one I’ve already bought twice and will continue to purchase again and again!

Cinnamon Roll:

I tried this fragrance thanks to Dawn, our reigning CandleFind tart queen and am SO glad I did!  Omigod!  Omigod!  Omigod does this scent rock!!!!!  It’s hands down THE best cinnamon roll scent I’ve ever tried and it’s going to be super duper hard to beat!  Here is the scent description:

“You will think you have freshly baked cinnamon rolls ready to take right out of the oven!!!! Topped off with vanilla frosting... mmm mmm good!”

I don’t know what Deana (owner of Crosscreek) does to this scent but whatever it is, it’s incredible.  She must cast a spell on it as she’s mixing it in her cauldron (lol) because it is SO delicious, rich and moist, you want to take bites out of the air to ingest more of this incredible scent.  It’s THAT good!!  The bakery part is amazing and I swear it smells like you have your nose in the oven to smell it baking.

The scent throw is very strong and travels far.  I don’t think I’ll ever tire of this fragrance and have already bought hoards of it so I always have some on hand.  This fragrance is cinnamon roll heaven and the best around.  Totally try this one!
