| How Did My Mulberry Candle Smell?
I have to admit, I was a little “iffy” on this scent when I first sniffed it. I absolutely love the fragrance of Mulberry. It’s a tart fruity berry scent that smells so wonderful to me and always puts a smile on my face when I smell it throughout my house. To me, most of the Mulberry candles I’ve burned in the past smell more like candy or a powdered punch drink than anything else. I like that and have to admit, that’s what I’m used to. This candle didn’t smell like that at all to me. Here is the scent description from Pure Integrity’s site:
“A wonderfully juicy fragrance of plump ripe mulberries. A favorite English sweet, fruity scent. Great for Holidays and year round! Bright and refreshing.”
I lit my candle in my great-room early evening. The scent became noticeable right away and around 30 minutes later, I could smell the fragrance everywhere. So, I will say the scent throw is strong and consistent as with all the candles I’ve tried from this company. I can’t figure out though if I like this scent or not. I don’t know if that’s ever happened to any of you but this one is fitting that category for me. I don’t dislike it, I just can’t quite make up my mind what I think.
I guess I can cry “creature of habit” and say Pure Integrity’s version is not the Mulberry I’m used to. The ones I know of smell more like that tart candy scent I like. Instead, I thought this version smelled like an actual piece of fruit... like maybe slicing a real Mulberry open and smelling it. Pure Integrity has been so right on with most of their fragrances so maybe they hit the nail on this one too. I don’t know but I think that’s a good of a guess as any so I’m sticking with it.

Introduction to My Mulberry Candle Review...
I chose their large jars this time because they’re the best deal for your money. These jars are beautiful. They are very simple frosted jars with natural wood lids. There is no label anywhere on the jar which is another feature I love about this company. My candle is also double wicked and the color of the wax is purple.
lose some” is applying to my experience with this fragrance. I didn’t dislike it but it’s not going to be a favorite of mine in the Pure Integrity menu. T his fragrance was strong and definitely sweet and fruity, it just wasn’t what I was expecting. This is absolutely a personal thing. You on the other hand may like it so take my thoughts on this scent with a grain of salt.
