Introduction to My SoyMelts.com Review...
Soymelts.com is a brand new website exclusively selling melts for all us crazed tart lovers out there. This is also a sister site of Rosegirls Soy Candles, one of my all time favorite online stores. I couldn’t wait to order from this new website and loved the look and theme of this store. The theme is, “Every day is Christmas!” What fun!! Browsing this website, it’s so cute with falling snow, Christmas trees, gingerbread houses and snowmen at every turn. All the fragrances Rosegirls sells will be the same on this website.
Rosegirls has pretty much become my second home when it comes to candle shopping. I LOVE this company! Rosegirls and now Soymelts.com have over 170 fragrances and counting. Soymelts sells a variety of melts so you have a few options. One choice is clamshell packs which have become extremely popular. Another option is soy cups which I’m really starting to like. They’re plastic cups with lids that hold about 1.5oz of wax so they’re pretty big. I like how they stay contained so the scents don’t mix if you buy an assortment. And lastly, they sell tart brittle, another favorite of mine. Tart brittle are broken chunks of wax that remind me of candy brittle... you just pop whatever amount in your tart burner, and wallah, you’re done.
When I first started ordering from this company, I started out strictly purchasing fruity scents but have since dove head first into their bakery realm and let me tell ya... what a realm it is!! I am in absolute bakery-ooey-gooey-doughy heaven!! So far, my favorite bakery scents are those that have anything cinnamon in them. Rosegirls has the best cinnamon bakery scents that are so realistic, you either want to eat them or you’ll go nuts craving the real thing because they smell so delicious and realistic! In this review I’ll be telling you about three new scents recently added to their menu called Maple Cream, Danish Kringle and Honey Graham Cracker. All three are to die for and must haves for this winter. Yummy doesn’t even begin to describe how wonderful these fragrances are.

Danish Kringle:
I loved the name “Danish Kringle” right off the bat and thought it sounded so different for a bakery scent. I ordered Clamshell tarts this time around and when I first opened the package to smell this scent... a unique pastry like apple scent hit my nose. I already knew I was going to like this one. Here is the scent description for Danish Kringle:
“Rosegirls Custom Blend - Apple Coffee cake glazed with Sugar and Cinnamon.”
This is another custom blend that is so rich and flaky... you literally want to eat the wax with your morning coffee. I could smell the apple, sugar and cinnamon clearly all wrapped up into a warm and inviting pastry puff type scent. YUM!!! Here is another realistic fragrance that throws people off because they literally think you’re baking goodies in the oven. This is one of my favorite parts of burning or melting bakery scents... the realistic fragrance. My daughter told me that since I’ve moved onto bakery scents a few weeks ago... all her friends at school say she smells like cookies or maple syrup, LOL! I think that’s hilarious!!
I used two cubes each in my tart burners and the scent was strong and wonderful. This isn’t a subtle scent where you have to walk out of the room and back in to smell it either. It was nice and strong and boy did I enjoy it from beginning to end. I totally recommend this one if you like bakery apple scents.

Maple Cream:
This fragrance surprised me, in a good way. I normally don’t care for maple fragrances because they tend to be too thick and sweet for my taste. I decided to review this scent though because it’s new to Rosegirls menu and I know many of you CandleFinders love maple scents. Here is the scent description for Maple Cream:
“Rosegirls Custom Blend - Pure maple syrup combined with butter cream and a light touch of ginger.”
This is another interesting scent. The butter cream and ginger add so much to this fragrance because it’s so smooth and incredible. I melted a large 1.5oz tart and I was afraid the scent would become overpowering but it wasn’t at all. The scent travels far and the fragrance of maple cream saturated my entire family room and beyond. I loved it! I could smell the maple but it did not dominate at all. I found the whole fragrance to be very silky and smooth and the best part is that it wasn’t overly sweet at all. I even attempted to break apart what I could smell the most and I couldn’t. Everything was blended to perfection. Even though the description doesn’t mention cinnamon, I could swear I caught a hint of it or “something” spicy in the mix and it wasn’t the ginger. Oh my gosh was it a wonderful fragrance. I kept taking deep breathes of the air every time I walked into the room.
Kathy, the owner of Rosegirls has a gift for blends and I can easily say my nose thought Maple Cream was another masterpiece.
