Elation Candle Co. is an online retailer selling scented candles in a variety of jar sizes as well as pillars, votives & tarts in over 46 fragrances. They also sell gel candles which I've always wanted to try more of, and now I know where to go.  :-)  I don't have too much experience with gel candles but they certainly look cool.

I did like the look of this website as it seemed easy to navigate through with easy to read descriptions of their products and scents. Browsing through their fragrance menu, I found plenty of scents that could easily lure me back for more. I've always had a hard time resisting those yummy fruity scents.

What Does My Hawaiin Paradise Scented Jar Candle Look Like?

My candle is a 16oz apothecary jar with a dome shaped lid. There is a clear label on the face of the candle with the company name on it. The wax color is orange. My candle was single wicked.

This is a very tropical and summery fragrance. Did I like it? Oh yeah! HELLO! Fruity scents are right up my alley and a great scent to chase away those winter blues. I actually didn't pick this fragrance out, I instead asked Elation Candles to send me whatever they wanted and they chose Hawaiian Paradise. They couldn't have picked a better scent because it's definitely a scent I would have chosen. The scent description for this fragrance is:

"A smooth tropical blend of coconut, mangos, papayas and citrus."

When I first sniffed this candle, mango's stood out the most to me. After lighting it and letting it burn for awhile, I thought mango still dominated the fragrance although I could smell a bit of everything in the description. Every time I walked into my bedroom and smelled the room, it made me long for summer. It's a wonderful sweet fruity scent that makes you want to bite into it like a piece of fruit. I really liked it.

The scent throw is pretty good. My 16oz candle fragrances my large bedroom easily and then some. This is definitely a great fragrance to chase away those winter blues, especially if you love tropical scents.

This candle was single wicked. It was a bit of a struggle getting it to burn all the way to the edges but all in all, it burned okay.

Ya know, I don't really know too much about this company but from the one candle I tried, it was pretty good. I think this company is definitely worth a shot if you're interested. 46 fragrances isn't huge by most standards now but it's fairly decent and I know I could go back and find at least a dozen worth purchasing for sure.  What can I say though, I "personify" a candlenut and take on the title gladly.
