Harvest Glow Soy Candles was the latest company on my review hit list. They're an online store selling all soy candles in 37 fragrances and counting. That's not a huge selection but decent and I had no problem choosing two to review.

This company offers a 4.5oz travel tin or 2 size mason jars as well as melts to choose from. What really caught my attention browsing this site were their prices which I found very reasonable. When I saw the price on their clamshell tarts, I was ecstatic... $2.50 a pack is a killer deal if you're into melts which I definitely am!

I really liked the look of this website. I found it very simple and pleasing to navigate through. Their homepage has a banner of a soybean crop and another picture of a pile of soybeans with a brief synopsis on why soy is better to burn. I personally burn both soy and paraffin equally and don't advocate for one over the other but it is interesting reading up on soy and the benefits etc...

When I chose my candles from this company, it was in the middle of summer...which tells you how on the ball I am with getting reviews done. I know we're now in the beginning stages of fall but you're going to have to muddle through a few more fruity scented reviews. I promise that once I'm all caught up, I'll be moving into those delicious bakery scented fragrances so appropriate for fall.

So, for this review I chose Pomegranate and something different called Lime Leaf & Lily. Both were nice fresh scents and equally enjoyable.

What Did My Harvest Glow Candles Look Like?

My candles were the 9oz. square mason jar style. This is a great size candle to burn if you love candles but want a smaller size to test different scents. Pomegranate was red and Lime Leaf and Lily was white. Both candles had one wick.

How Did My Harvest Glow Candles Smell?

Pomegranate:

Pomegranate is a really nice fruity scent and there hasn't been one out there I've tried that I haven't liked. I just think it's a nice perky scent and for the most part, a strong fruity fragrance all around. Here is the scent description from Harvest Glows website:

"Very fruity and sweet; just my take, but it reminds me of those Easter marshmallow eggs with the candy coating."

Hmmm...(scratching my head) I don't smell Easter marshmallow eggs at all. I smell that classic and sweet pomegranate scent I love. That is interesting though.

The candle was small so I started burning it in my bedroom where it just couldn't keep up. So, I ended up moving it to a smaller room where the throw was strong and perfect. I didn't try their melts this time but I bet they would give a much stronger scent throw. This was a great pomegranate scent and I would definitely try this one again.

Lime Leaf & Lily:

This was definitely a surprise scent for me and I picked it because the name was different. I also absolutely love fruity/floral mixes and try them every chance I get. I was hoping this one fell in that category. It's frankly becoming a bit challenging these days to find new scents to review that aren't the same old, same old. Here is the scent description from Harvest Glows website:

"Smells like the fragrant leaves of the Kaffir Lime from Thailand blended with fragrant lilies. A complex fresh, slightly sweet scent bursting with clean; you just have to try this one!"

This fragrance is incredibly crisp and definitely a clean/fresh scent. The lime definitely dominates this scent because it has so much citrus zest to it. I really liked it! I found the lily to be soft but the blend totally works and it's just a nice and fresh scent. I highly recommend it if you love fresh/clean scents.

My candle burned evenly & completely to the bottom with no waste.

Closing Comments:

I enjoyed both candles and do think this website is worth shopping on. I can't vouch for their other 35 fragrances but with their prices, I think they're worth a try for sure. If you love melts, these prices can't be beat. $2.50 for clamshell tarts is a smokin' deal.
