| Gaila's thoughts on her For Every Body candle:
I am very much impressed by this little jar candle. A friend from work bought it at a Kohl's department store. She says it cost about $6 there, and I think that was a very good deal because this candle has an excellent scent throw.
Scent throw is one of the most important things to me. If I want unscented, I will buy unscented. If I buy a scented candle I want to be able to smell it, and smell it at a distance. I have two small boys roaming about my house so I usually end up burning candles on top of the firepIace at the far end of a good sized living room. I not happy if I can't smell them across the room. My favorites are the candles I can smell into the kitchen and laundry room.
This candle is from their home baked collection. These candles are in cylindrical glass jars with a gold metal lid. Most of the candles have decorative "sprinkles" of colored wax on the top layer, festive if you want to use them as a gift. But what matters most to me is scent. And this candle was a winner in that category.
The fragrance was warm and pleasing. It really reminded me of berries simmering into a jam. I didn't notice much of the cake or butter type smell mixed into this fragrance, but don't let that make you think the aroma was missing anything because it was delightful. As I mentioned before, the scent throw was also great. This candle burned at work and the scent drifted down the halls and into the copy room.
I give this candle a great recommendation and am looking forward to trying other scents from Kohls.
