I received a few Spotted Hog melts as part of a prize package and quickly became a fan. Cranberry Marmalade is strong and authentic, smelling just like you think it would. Pumpkin Carrot Strudel was wonderful and I’m rather hard to please when it comes to bakery. I also received two of the most adorable Cake Bites you can imagine, scented in Birthday Cake. I’m not kidding when I say I had to stop myself from swallowing these whole! They looked exactly like a square of cake, complete with frosting, and they smelled like it too. Yum! Another scent that I loved was the softer, more delicate, somewhat complex White Nectarine & Apple Tea. The last item in my prize package was a large gourmet chunk tart in Caribbean Strawberry. This is to date the prettiest tart I’ve ever laid eyes on, although that may change once I get my hands on this company's new Whippets. Those look divine! I can’t find Caribbean Strawberry on the scent list anymore, so it may be discontinued. But it was outstanding, a fruity slice of tropical paradise!

After this great experience, I had to place an order. I bought all clamshells. In addition to reordering some of the above scents, I also got these new ones:

Apple Jack & Peel is a familiar scent to many. This was strong and authentic and very, very pleasing to my nose. I believe it’s apple, orange, and spices. Deelish!

Coconut Bay is a terrific tropical blend of coconut, fruit and ice cream. Who wouldn’t love that?!

Mrs. Claus Candy Cane Cookie is one that many people seem to rave about. And the name sounds so delicious. However, I wasn’t really a fan of this scent. Maybe it was the blend of bakery and mint. I'm not sure.

Orange Chiffon Cake is a slice of heaven. A mouth watering blend of orange, caramel and bakery. Oh so good and strong!

Shredded Coconut Cake is another bakery that this non-bakery gal adores. Spotted Hog does such a fantastic job with bakery scents. Mmmm, mmmm!

Sinfully Vanilla is a wonderful, pure vanilla with more than adequate scent strength, unlike some vanillas out there.

Holiday Rugula Cookies was just okay for me. There was nothing really wrong with it, but I doubt I’ll reorder it. There are just too many fabulous scent choices to settle for "okay."

I feel that Spotted Hog is a bit pricey, but well worth it. And if you look around the website, you’ll find specials, savers, and sales. Enjoy visiting every page. There’s plenty to see, and you may save a few dollars by checking out everything!

This review is for a couple of WoodWicks. I'm not familiar with any other products from this company.

WoodWicks are very attractive, with the hourglass shape, substantial weight, peel off label, and pretty wooden lid. And I really love the sound of the crackling wicks, an added bonus to an already lovely candle.

I bought two of the 10 oz. candles for 20% off. The price was under $15, which was well worth it, in my opinion. The first scent was Linen.

I thought I was buying Vanilla Bean but the store had them sorted by color and I didn't check the label on the bottom. I'm not real crazy about laundry scents so this was a disappointment. I imagine if you like that type scent, this one would be a good one, but I really don't know. Sorry I can't be more helpful!

The other scent I purchased was Cider. This one was wonderful - authentic hot apple cider in a mug, with the perfect amount of tartness and warm spiciness. I loved it!

Both candles burned evenly, beautifully and not too hot. A complete pool of melted wax happened every time with not a bit of help from me. Trimming the wood wick was so simple it was nearly a non-issue. The wax is a proprietary blend of soy. That's all I was able to find out. There was absolutely zero soot. All in all, maintenance on these candles is almost nothing.

I'm definitely planning to buy more of these in the future. Cider again, maybe something completely new, and hopefully the elusive Vanilla Bean!

Very nice company! The tarts are in large muffin tin papers and they come individual or in packs of 4. They throw pretty strong and the scents are true. I ordered a variety of scents to test and thought the standout was the woodsy or incense type scents. Even went back to order linen spray in Cedarwood Vanilla which I love. Customer service was great and they get back to your questions quickly. Think you will enjoy this business.

Absolutely love this company! I have ordered from here 3 times and every time I am impressed. The prices are terrific, the tarts large and fragrant and the customer service is exceptional. Kim is very friendly and has always been quick to respond to emails. This is a place I will keep going back to. My favorites are: Pretty in Pink, Sweet Dreams, Texas Breeze, Cranberry Chutney, Vanilla Pound Cake & Lavender Vanilla...among many others!

Pacifica is a very easy to find brand and many people rave about their candles. Their packaging is also simple and quite nice so I thought they might be worth a try

.Blood Orange: one of my favorite scents if made more sweet than sour, and when I smelled this candle at the store I thought it fill into that category so I bought it. However due to my disappointment there was no scent throw AT ALL! I made a little research online only to find out that most people reviewed various products with this scent all agreeing it's too weak, so I decided to try another scent before judging them. 1/10

.Thai Lemongrass: This one smelled ok, unlike the blood orange it was not a very unique scent, just lemon grass, so I wasn't that excited about it. It did however have some scent strength to it, mild, but at least it was a "scented candle". 3/10

Overall:
.I gave up on Pacifica, it's slightly more expensive than most mass-produced candles yet is really weak. I don't know if I keep getting bad samples, or if those who give it a good reviews have not tried any good brands. Or perhaps I might just be one of these people who are unable to detect the scent of these brands since a few people have shared that same opinion on this board. Overall I don't recommend it, even if you like their scents unlit. And it's also worth mentioning that when my Blood Orange wax all melted, the wax had a serious mini-explosion and kept smoking for 3 minutes! But I'm not going to read too much into that one single experience.

Island Nectar: I really liked this scent at the store. However when I lit it at home it filled the room with an unpleasant old-fruits like scent. This might be a taste issue but I really disliked it. The scent strength was medium and it burned evenly on the bright side. 4/10

Kitchen Spice: While spice suggests to me spicy (duh) this one smells like cake. Nevertheless since I bought it I fell in love with it, sadly it turns out they stopped selling it, at least for now, I believe it's a "holiday scent". Overall this is a fairly strong scent and very pleasant if you want a sweet, yet calm cake scent. One of the few unique scents that Bath and Body works has, and the only one I bought regularly from them. 8/10

Overall:
.Bath and Body works don't sell the highest quality products in general, but they're good enough for the price if you find a scent you like. Sadly most of their scents are also quite boring so there are a few items that I find worth buying myself. Their candles as fairly good quality, mostly having medium strength, burning evenly and are very consistent if you come to buy again.
.Price: Some people seem to be complaining about the price since this is one of the pricey mass produced candles. That is true for the most part as there are better alternatives for the price, but on the plus side they have several sales throughout the year, sometimes up to 50% off! I personally don't think of this brand as a regular buy, but occasionally when I stumble upon a scent I like on a sale I grab it.

General:
.Packaging: I don't really like Seda France candles packaging, but I can see that it's very well designed.
.Price: They're not one of the more expensive luxury brands, 30$ for a 10oz is fairly decent. But the 2oz tins are for $10! makes sampling a little hard when they have so many fragrances.

Scents:
.Sugar Blossom Lime: This is the first scent I tried and it was simply amazing! it's scent strength while unlit overpowered some candles I had actually lit (though that could be an indication of an old sample). Lit though the scent strength is medium to strong. As the name suggests, it's sugary citrus, gorgeous! sadly hard to find. 9/10

.Clementine: Slightly Weaker than the first one, I'd say medium. This was a a straight up citrus scent, mostly orange+lemon. Not as impressive as their Sugar blossom lime, but it's from their classic line and much easier to find. Finding a cheaper similar scent though is easy as well. 6/10

.Kashmiri: this is a woody (amber) yet very sweet smell. I really liked it however the scent strength was not as impressive as the other two, still in the medium strength range. Worth trying because it's a unique scent. 8/10

Overall:
.After trying about 3 or 4 "Luxury" brands, I came to the conclusion I'm just paying for fancy packaging until I tried Seda France. Most luxury brands have unique scents but they rarely smell strong. Seda France renewed my interest in Luxury brands even though it is not really that expensive. My only complaint is that 10$ is way too much for a 2oz tin, making sampling their scents too costy. It's also worth mentioning it's an easy brand to find, especially their classic line.

Cheryl's customer service is truly like no other. She stays in frequent communication through the process so you know exactly what is going on with your purchase. She put extra melts in with my order. Most of the scents that I ordered were of a flower or aromatherapy type scent. I've only had a chance to melt two of them but the cold smells on all of them are beautiful. I encourage everyone to order from Cheryl. You will not be disappointed. I will be ordering more from her very soon.
