Pros: Selection, price, good customer service
Cons:

*******Update********
After my problem was brought to the attention of the staff at Old Fashioned Candle, they contacted me to offer to make it right. They replaced my candles, and I can tell you that there is a big difference in the new ones. They said that there was a batch that had an ingredient left out and mine may have come from that batch. All I know is that the new ones they sent are great! No tunneling, good throw. I would buy from them again.

I ordered some 10 oz candles from Old Fashioned Candle and was the winner of a 16 oz. The 10 oz candles I had some interesting experiences with. I first burned the Jolly Rancher candle. It tunneled horribly and I had trouble getting the wick to stay lit. I finally had to throw it out because it wouldn't stay lit for more than a minute or two. The throw was bad too.

I decided to try my lilac 10 oz and see if it was a fluke. This candle did not tunnel or have the wick problem, but there is no scent throw. I thought at first I just needed a smaller room so I moved it from my living room to my bedroom, and finally my bathroom....nothing.

My 16 oz candle is a whole different story. The scent is wildflowers and it's pretty strong. It burns evenly, but it's also double wicked. I think that makes a big difference.

Pros: Sales, discount, cheap prices
Cons: scents aren't authentic smelling, not 100% soy

I found that Candlefind was offering a discount for this company -- and the company itself had a buy two get one free sale going on -- so, I couldn't resist trying them. It took 10 days till delivery -- fedex. I ordered only 8 oz jars (learned my lesson about buying big ones from unknown companies!). Here is what I got:
~~~Raspberry Delight -- COLD -- a familier candy vanilla-ish smell -- not really raspberry at all -- light throw, burns cleanly, wick mushrooms
~~~Mango Fruit -- COLD -- this one smells like PEZ candy -- no mango smell -- HOT, still artifical candy kind of scent
~~~Eucalyptus -- COLD -- almost a medicinal cleaning product aroma -- HOT -- not much better, very medicinal.
All the mason jars are single zinc wicked and pretty brightly colored. I do not believe that they are using 100% soy -- it must be a blend -- the tops are shiny smooth. These candles burn well, but -- the scents that I purchased are not great. Throw is just okay (average) -- I question the amount of "soy" in them. They burn slowly for such small jars -- but would I order again??? Nope. Julianne
