Modern Line of Candles

For a very clean, modern look, buy about 10 votive candles that are exactly the same....the same height, width, texture, etc.  This look works the best if you use either white or very light cream candles.  Buy 10 simple votive candle holders to use with your candles.  Again, make sure you get 10 matching holders.

Light the candles in their holders in a straight line down the center of your coffee table or dinner table.  Creates such a fabulous look for very little money.  I got this idea from watching the decorating show, Trading Space.  One of my favorite decorators on the show is Vern.  He seems to use this line of candles a lot in his designs. It never fails to add an extra splash of style to his rooms.

If you do try this look, I suggest you use unscented candles especially if you create a "Line of Candles" as the centerpiece of your table for a dinner party.  If you use scented candles, the scent might be too overpowering for your guests while they eat.
