Pros: Beautiful candles, good scents
Cons:

I love McCall's candles. They're beautiful with old-fashioned, colorful labels and come in a glass jar with metal lid and handle. After burning, they make great cannisters and other containers. I normally burn tarts, but purchased "Cabin Scents" and "Pumpkin Spice" in candle form. Both burn evenly and don't tunnel. Either one fills my living room and it's a large room. Both scents are true and not artificial in any way. In tarts, I also tried vanilla and if you're a vanilla lover, this one is for you. It's creamy smelling - if that makes sense! Tarts online are .99 compared the new price of Yankee for 1.59 and they last just as long and are just as strong. Cabin Scents is a fresh, woodsy smell and Pumpkin Spice is a complex combination of scents that all blend together for a wonderful aroma. The don't have a website to order from, but after doing a search I found several places that sell them and I plan to order more tarts in other scents.

Pros: LONG-LASTING SCENT!!! Great price.
Cons: None

I was delighted to see a post for this company. I've been meaning to get one up myself. I've not tried their candles, only their wax melts called "Button Melts." They are without a doubt my very favorite! This is the only melt I've tried that I can say I'm completely satisfied with. Their scent throw is incredible, the only ones that I can actually smell on the second floor of my home. And they are long-lasting. Every melt I've tried has burned at least 10-12 hours. I burn Yankee tarts a lot but I also live near a retailer who has them reasonably priced ($1.10/tart) if I had to pay a $1.59 per tart I would not bother. The McCall's melts are priced at my local store for $.98 per melt and worth every penny! I've tried Ginger Peach (my favorite), Country Store and Wilson's Shortbread. Check these out, you won't be disapointed!

Pros: Great throw, Adorable looking jars!
Cons:

Wink
I usually don't like buying candles from big name companies. I would rather the "homemade" appearance, but McCall's is above the rest!
I love the "Country Store" scent!
The "Country Store" fragrance is a wonderful mixture of baking scents and spice. But the cold smell does no justice to the hot throw!!
"Apple Butter" which is kind of new. Again, the cold and hot smells are different. It is apples but with a twist.
"Laura's Lemon Loaf" is a nice lemon cake scent which has a great throw. I usually hate lemon because it reminds me of wood cleaner- but this is good.
"Raspberry Lemon" is sooooooooo good. Smells just like a big glass of raspberry lemonade. It is more raspberry than lemon- and sugary sweet.
"Spiced Apple" is very nice macintosh apple with a bit of spice. Another great thrower.
"Cabin Scents" is really, really great at Christmas...it is a piney scent just like the tree. The picture is a log cabin and it is soo cute.
"Fresh Apple" is just a delicious macintosh apple.
There are a few of their scents that I do not care for: Campfire Marshmallow, Orange Almond Biscotti and some that I just don't remember.
I enjoy the baking scents more than the florals but that is just my preference.
McCall's is funny because the candles really smell very different when they are burning. The fragrances are true and they scent your home fast! They are very big throwers in their medium and large jars and in their button tarts. The jars are so cute to leave out as a decoration!
I always keep 2 "Country Store" jars in my family room to light at any time. The jars I have purchased do not smoke if you keep the wicks trimmed. The jars burn very nicely- so nice I reuse them to keep the McCall's button tarts in. I like MacCall's because their scents are great throwers without being too strong and they have a nice background note that I love. Smile

Pros: Awesome scents, cute primative jars
Cons: hard to find

I love McCall's candles. They used to be sold at a local nursery, but they no longer carry them Sad
My favorite is Fresh Apple, I have it in the 16 oz. jar. It scents my whole house. I also have Banana Nut Bread, Country Store and Pumpkin Spice in the 5 oz. jar. They are all awesome! They scent my whole house quickly. I love these candles, if only they were easier to find.

Pros: Great cold smells, nice containers
Cons: None

While I haven't tried these yet since I am on candle overload (or at least my daughter keeps reminding me that I am), I just wanted to let everyone know that I found a large selection of them at my local Cracker Barrel. They also have Yankee Candles and Old Virginia Wood Wick Candles. So if you can fight temptation better than I can, you might want to check it out!
