Pros: Very good web site; prices; customer service; highly scented
Cons: None

In my constant search for the perfect candle scent, I found this candle site online and think it is one of the nicest sites on the web for
candle lovers to browse through-- easy to get around on, reasonable pricing, and very good scent descriptions, along with candle opinion surveys etc.
When you click on a scent you have many options -- including wax tarts and smaller clamshell melts. I ordered all melts in Christmas
scents, but one, for my first order to test them out and each scent is wonderful with a great throw.
My favorite scent was the non-Christmas scent I ordered, called Baton Rouge, a mossy, oaky, smell with something (?) light and airy in it to keep the scent from being too heavy.
The customer service at Olde Tyme Candles is wonderful. There was a problem in receiving my order; perhaps due to the Christmas mail
rush. I sent an email and Ernie sent back a message within 4 hours that he was Express shipping a duplicate oder, which I received in 2 days.
I would recommend giving this candle company a try. I know I am going to order Baton Rouge in candle form as soon as some of my other candles
are used up.

Pros: neat website
Cons: customer service, SLOW SHIPPING!!!!!!!

I ordered 3 scents hoping to hit it big with this company. I ordered Glazed Donuts, Deep Fried Icecream and Southern Vanilla. I may have made a mistake in getting the Soy/Parafin mix candles as they stink. I mean they really have a nasty odor to them. I am not a soy person but I thought the mix would be nice. I think I may try again but with Paraffin only wax. I was really disappointed in these.

***UPDATE***
I re-ordered some candles in Parafin only to see if they would be better...NOPE. Still has this awful odor. Will not order from them anymore.

Also a big problem with order delivery time. Took forever and they are not good about communicating with customers.

I ended up throwing away all the candles, the smell was so bad.

Pros:
Cons:

I too am waiting on an order from this company. I placed the order on February 7 and received an email message on February 13 that the order had shipped. But when I click on the USPS tracking information link, I get a message that tracking information has been sent from the vendor but that the actual item hasn't been scanned. I interpret that to mean that the company sent tracking information to the post office and told them to expect a package, but that the package has never arrived at the post office.

I have sent two emails to the company. One was answered a couple of days later, wtih a notation that the company was having email trouble. I was told that the company had contacted the post office and was waiting for a reply from them. They said they would get back to me and get another order ready to go in the meantime just in case. I sent the second email late last week and don't know yet if I received a reply since I sent the email from work.

When I did get my reply to the first message I sent to the company, it was courteous. I don't know what to think. I'm wondering if the company is backlogged for whatever reason and is not letting customers know. I hope I eventually get the order (thankfully it was only for a few tarts and wasn't an expensive order).

UPDATE: I received my order on March 3. The company sent MANY extra tarts to make up for the problem. The ones I have burned (in the scents of Forget-Me-Not and Old Candle Shop) both smell great and are strong.

Pros: Selection, price
Cons: Slow shipping

I am mixed on this company. The tarts I got are pretty good, strong throw and true scents. I had a lot of trouble actually getting my order though. I think the post office actually lost the package for a while and it took a tracer on it to get it to me. I'm just not sure though.
