This is a storefront operating in Galena, Illinois and which also sells over the web.
I purchased these candles while in the store. The store was cheery and the salespeople very friendly and helpful. All of their candles are soy-based. I sniffed every scent they had and selected three for testing. In the store, the scents were nice.
However all three candles turned out to have almost no scent throw when burning. When sitting three feet from a candle that was below my sitting position, there was almost no scent. They were akin to buying unscented color-tinted decorative candles. Even when hovering directly over the candle, there was only a faint scent.
They did burn clean and melted reasonably well.
Unfortunately, they are also priced higher than several other candles that I like much better.
[Addendum: I did purchase my candles during the first week the store was open. Perhaps that batch wasn't made correctly - although I did purchase three different scents and all were practically unscented when burning.]

Todd and Jill Arno (owners) are very personable and willing to provide you with the natural soy candles and natural body products in multiple aromas and packaging styles. We tried the Cucumber Melon and were very pleased with the impact of aroma. The burn was very smooth and even, yet we aren't done with it yet. We didn't try the body products yet, but if they are as high of quality as the candles, we will make sure to pick up some on our next trip to Galena. By the way, the packaging is really cool and put together by Jill, Todd, and a local artist. They hand pour the candles right on sight and will even re-fill your empty container for a slightly reduced cost. Can't beat that. I will definitely give them more business. Hope this review helps.

For my first trip to Galena, we thought we would just poke into some stores and browse. I left with two candles, two travel candles, and scented oil and I plan to shop from Seattle on line. The scents were fantastic (my favorite being the Lemon Grass) and the staff was helpful at every turn. This was more than just a purchase, it was an experience. Kudos to the Galena Candle Company!
