Pros: very strong scent even before box is opened
Cons: expensive

I splurged on the lemon verbena, and it is to die for. Henri Bendel uses the same oils that are used in Chanel perfume. I want to try "Fig" when I've saved up for it!

Twodogs, I am sorry you spent that money. My initial excitement turned to disappointment. I think the candle must have been scented only on the top. I have even put it on the melter with no results. I am tempted to take it back to Bath and Body Works and ask for my money back.

Pros: Henry Bendel
Cons: Everything!!!

After reading a posting on this Company, I decided to splurge and purchase a Lemon Verbena candle at the high price of $28.00. First of all, it has NO scent even in a small room. The burn is terrible as it burns down the middle of the wax so there will be a lot of waste. I do not recommend this Company at all.

Pros: Strong scent fills the entire house
Cons: Expensive

I purchased two candles, Gardenia and Jasmine. Both were boxed and wrapped in cellophane but I could still get a whiff of fragrance before opening the package. Inside the box is a nice frosted glass container with a plastic lid covering it. Upon removing the lid the scent was even stronger. I love florals. This candle was worth every penny. My husband likes to buy a Gardenia plant every Spring but they always seem to drop leaves and buds the minute we get them home, so this was a good option to get the scent without the hassle of a real gardenia.

The wax is creamy white and silky smooth. It burns nice and even, leaving no residue on the sides of the glass. For a 10 oz. candle it lasted a very long time and it burned all the way down to the bottom of the glass. I would buy this one again.

I haven't lit the Jasmine yet. I'm into my Fall scents, but will save it for when the Winter doldrums set in, after the holidays, in anticipation of Spring.
