My mom has been using Melaleuca products for years & years! They have a few candles, one with the signature Melaleuca scent (which is what I'm reviewing). This company is known for their tea tree oil products, which I must say are very good. So I decided to try a tea tree candle! It arrived quickly and well-packaged, of course, along with some other household & health products I had ordered. I must have forgotten that tea tree oil is known as a disinfectant and is medicinal, because the scent of the candle is so "antibiotic" smelling! Some might say it smells clean and fresh, but all I can think of is first aid. It does burn clean, although I put a capper on it just to make sure. They are not cheap candles and I didn't want to waste one precious drop, but now after burning it, I may just give it away. It's just not my kind of fragrance. They also carry a bakery line and soy candles, although there's not much selection with either line. I burned some of their bakery tins years ago and remember not being impressed for the amount of money they cost, but next time I may try the soy line. If nothing else, try some of their other products (must buy from a rep), they're excellent!

I have to agree with the above poster -- these candles are just candles... nothing closely worth the price that they charge for them. I am a Melaleuca customer -- for years -- once you begin using some of their products -- there are no replacements and that keeps you ordering them over and over! But, as for the candles -- I believe they must have started this candle line as an alternative purchase for people who had problems with there monthly required point orders. I am amazed that as health responsible this company is, that they have changed completely to soy candles yet. The throw is okay, the burn is okay, the scents are okay -- nothing that I have experience in hand-full I have burned that would make me buy any more. (unless they changed the formula and dropped the prices!) $15 for an 8 oz. jelly jar is tooo much! Julianne
