I just received my order-so this is going on cold smell only. I am not sure how freshly poured the candles are, so I am going to let them sit a couple of days. I mostly ordered from here because of 3 scents and all of them have GREAT cold smells. The scents are: White chocolate, Cucumber Vanilla, and Melon Fig. They came in 24oz (quart) large canning jars. So far, my favorite is the Melon fig. I also purchased a smaller jar(pint) in Cosmic Debris for my little brother-stay clear of this scent if you don't like patchouli!!  I ordered an Amaretto jar--the cold smell is very faint on this one (we'll see). Finally, on special they had apothecary jars in Lily of the Valley(16oz), so I purchased one of these. Will have to let you know about the hot throw later...until then...

Uh-Oh!!  I have been burning the Amaretto and the Melon Fig non-stop for a few days now and can't smell a thing!! Gave 2 as gifts (at least it was family) I will try a different one tonight, but so far I do NOT recommend this company. I sent an e-mail to the company.
*********Tried the cucumber vanilla and this one has a very light throw-probably intentional. But, I expected more hot throw from Melon fig and Amaretto and never really smelled much of anything. Never heard back from the company. On the bright side, these candles do burn very clean, using all the wax.

It's A Soy Candle has lots of yummy-sounding scents, and great customer service emphasis indicated on their Web site. Unfortunately, I was charged for but never received the candles, nor any response to numerous inquiries.
11/25/07 - Ordered candles on http://itsasoycandle.com Web site.
11/25/07 - My credit card was charged for the total, $116.
11/25/07 - Received email confirmation. It indicated, "allow up to 10 business days for your order to ship".
12/18/07 - Still hadn't received candles or further email. Tried to phone them at 877.425.5769 several times but it was always busy (fast busy/circuits busy). Emailed support@itsasoycandle.com requesting order status.
12/31/07 - Had tried phoning several more times but always busy and still no response to inquiry. Sent another order status inquiry, this time via their Web contact form, asking that they call me.
1/4/08 - Still no response and phone busy. Searched online for another phone number for them, but couldn't find one. Called the telephone operator to see if there was a problem with the number, which she couldn't confirm. Called my credit card company to see if they had a different phone number for Its A Soy Candle but they didn't. They suggested filing a fraud claim to recover my money.
1/4/08 - This sounds like a great candle site, and I really would like to do business with them! Sent another email to info@itsasoycandle.com outlining what had happened and requesting, again, that they call me.
1/13/08 - Still no contact, and still hoping to hear from them! If they contact me I will post an update here. Otherwise, I'm afraid I'll have to contact my credit card company to help me recover the money.
