Pros: One of a kind items and love their colors!!
Cons:

I love Pier 1!!! They have nice pillars too, I really like their colors and assortment. I have bought plenty and have some of the pillars and alot of their decor in my home. I order online alot too and they have good customer service.

Pros: Nice looking, good scent blends
Cons: Weak scent throw

One of my favorite scents is Cranberry Citrus from Pier 1. I bought several pillars ranging from small 3" to the larger 6" for a pillar holder that sits on my fireplace mantle. I love the deep, rich burgundy color of the candles and they just look better than a lot of pillars - the color is so rich and beautiful. For that alone, I can recommend them to others.

Although they smell terrific on a cold sniff, I don't get much scent when they are burning, even when several of them burn at once. I have decided though that I like the way they look so much, that I'm generally happy with my purchase and would purchase again, for aesthetics. And I do get a little "whiff" of the scent when I walk by when they are just sitting there cold, so although weak when burning, they are not totally scentless, either.

I find them to burn pretty well, a little tunneling at first but when burned long enough the sides will melt down as well.

I did purchase a few votive sized candles and chopped them up to burn in a tart burner. This worked quite well and delivered a stronger scent throw, still not high, but okay. Sometimes I find with candles that burn a little weak, heating them up in the tart burner will get their fragrance released a little more.

Pros: Beautiful pillars & candles, nice selection
Cons:

It's hard rating Pier 1 candles because they have so many beautiful candles and they are one of my all time favorite stores for home shopping.

I've bought many candles from this company from decorative pillars to votives & tealights. My favorite Pier 1 fragrances are Ginger Peach & Asian Spice. Unfortunately, the fragrances never last long and that has been my experience with all their candles. I recently went back and found they now have jar candles in all their signature fragrances and they're a good size and only 8 bucks. I bought a few and will update after I burn some.

I definitely recommend these candles because they are so beautiful and different enough for every sort of taste out there.

Pros: Very pretty, nicely scented, easy to find
Cons: Not much throw while burning, uneven burn

I have a "love/hate" relationship with Pier 1 candles: I love the way they look and the general scent is wonderful, but they don't cast much (if any) scent while burning and tend to get lopsided if burned for more than an hour at a time. Additionally, the overall scent seems to fade pretty quickly, but since the candle itself is so decorative, it's still great to buy for the way it looks. I've gotten just about every scent they've carried ranging from pillars to tealights, and usually just burn them for ambiance and not for their scent. Fortunately, my house is scented well enough now by using my tartwarmers that I don't need to worry about that anyway!

Pros: The scents & look of their Candles
Cons: Some scents are not as strong

I like Pier One's pillars and jars. I agree with the other reviewers~~some of their scents aren't as strong as others. I LOVE the Biscotti jar they sell, and i also like their Fall candles, the pumpkin spice and some of the others. I also enjoy their room sprays. All in all, i like the candles & accessories that they sell at Pier One.
