Pros: soy votives, 3 sizes of jars, 4 sizes of tins, wickless tin or jar, breakapart melts
Cons: none

This company is so cool! Chic, trendy, west coast, Seattle cool. I love their slightly funky website and their sassy and sophisticated logo pussycat. Sparklepuss candles are no exception. Each scent is named after a street or place in Seattle, Washington.

Although Sparklepuss doesn't have a huge selection of scents, the scent selection they do have is very unique. Because some of them sounded so different, I couldn't decide which scent to try...so I tried them all! If you click on her Scents link, and then look at the bottom of the Summer 2006 list, there is an option to try a sample chunk of a scent that's just a dollar per scent, or save by trying every scent in a package deal for $9. The best part about the sample deal is that you don't have to pay for shipping; it is included in the purchase of the samples. Michelle has added a SPAAA (literal spelling:) line and holiday line since I last visited, so I just purchased those samples today! Also new to her site are Breakapart Soymelts, for those of you who are tart lovers.

The scents I have tried with my warmer were strong with an exceptional throw. Scents lingered for quite a while, even after I turned off the warmer.

I have lots of favorite scents from Michelle's website, but my favorite was King Street Cranberry Spice. While this might not sound like a summer scent, I really think it could be. This fragrance is nice and fruity, with just a little kick, so it isn't so spicy that I would reserve burning it only as a fall or winter scent.

I wanted to see how Michelle's jars burned, so my second order was a 10oz jar in King Street Cranberry Spice. So far it is burning clean and even with a strong scent throw.

Once I receive my newest batch of samples, I'll be heading back to Sparklepuss to purchase Michelle's new breakapart soymelts. Hope some of you give her candles a try. I love em and always enjoy reading what other people think of a candle company I love. Happy candle hunting from Jen the Candle Hunter:-)

Pros: Great scents
Cons: None

These scents are great. I thought I would give these tarts a try. I ordered the sample pack and got all kinds of great scents, alot of unusual ones. The one I am trying right now is spicy pear, and it is really neat. Long lasting and very unique. I like it alot. I thought I would try the sample pack so I could pick which ones I really like to try more of. Its nice to be able to try some different scents.

Pros: Very cool, great scents, great service
Cons: None

What a great find! I really like this company's website and general attitude - tres chic! I, too, ordered after reading Jen's review and got the sample pack, which is a terrific deal for a lot of scents. More companies ought to offer this! The shipping was fast, the wax is of excellent quality, the scents are fantastic. I just started burning freesia, which is not a scent I would ordinarily like, but this version is very good, especially in my bedroom. I am very happy with these and will be ordering again!

Pros: Strong scented Tarts, great customer service
Cons: None

I ordered small samples of several of these tarts. The cold smell is wonderful, and when i burn, i will update. I LOVE the website!!

Okay, I have melted a few of these, the french vanilla spice and the vanilla bean. I love both of these Smile The Holiday Cheer is wonderful! I am definately going to have to get a candle jar of that one for Christmas. I will definately buy again!!

Pros: Great website, dye-free soy, great customer service
Cons: none

I ordered the "Try Me" Votive 4-pack in Freesia, Peppermint, Mango and Cranberry Spice (thanks Jen!)They all burned clean and the little glasses they come in are so cute, definately worth saving. The Cranberry Spice was more spicy than fruity with a strong throw ( I think this would be a great holiday scent but does lend itself to year around.) The Mango is great for summer or anytime you want a summery feel it also had a strong throw. The Peppermint has a slight vanilla scent along with the peppermint (to me anyway Smile)and also has a good throw. The Freesia is nice with a powdery floral scent and it to had a lighter throw (probably the nature of the scent...this one was my least favorite but that's also just my opinion...it was still good.) I agree with Shannon this is a great way to sample scents at a reasonable price and you get a cute little glass once your candle is gone.I also love their website it is so cool and modern. Hey, I think I'll just have to order again.
