Pros: Superb customer service, lots of choices, fair prices
Cons: absolutely nothing

Cheryl shows an interest in all of her customers and her main goal is to make you satisfied with your purchase. She is a good communicator and her service is very quick. She really has a lot of scents to choose from in her candles and tarts and lots and lots of styles as well. She really does have something for everyone. I finally printed off her scent list as it was so long (5 pages and adding). What caught my eye was the scent Joop a perfume dupe that is right on. It smelled magnificent, just like the real thing. It seemed that the longer the scent melted the better it got. I wrote her back wondering which scents she would recommend that would be especially strong. Well, I got a big list and the best part was that she said that is the way she likes her tarts. If we want them stronger just tell her at the time of order. Her prices are very reasonable with 15 mini tarts going for $2.75. 2 of these, maybe even one in a smaller room, will do you just fine. But she has many, many more styles to choose from and you can also choose your color. I have also contacted her regarding brittle or crumbles and she will be trying these soon. My other love of hers is Bamboo. I am slowly getting addicted to this as much as the Joop. Friends have tried her candles and say even with their very high ceilings the throw from the 8 oz is amazing.
Give Cheryl a try, you're missing out if you don't.

Pros: Outstanding customer service, fast shipping, very strong & great scents!
Cons: None!

Words cannot express how happy I am to find this wonderful company! Cheryl, the owner, is truly amazing and provides excellent customer service; however, the product is what really makes this one worth trying. I ordered seven packs of the mini-tarts, since they'd fit into my smaller warmers, in the scents of Amber (one of my favorite & most elusive scents - this is a really good version!), Gulf Tides (a VERY strong, clean ocean scent), Woodland Orange Spice (almost reminiscent of a wintery smell but outstanding all year long), Plumberry (fresh berry scent, very strong), Azalea (normally, I stay away from florals but this one tempted me & I'm glad I got it - very strong and clean), Bamboo (this one is every bit as good as everyone says & a new Spring favorite) and Celtic Twilight (mysterious, strong, very nice). All of these are packaged well, look very cute and smell outrageously great! Cheryl communicated with me a lot and you can tell she loves her product and is proud of it - she should be! I will definitely be ordering from her again, and SOON!

Pros: Great customer service, large fragrance selection, large product selection, reasonable prices
Cons: None

I ordered tealights in Christmas Cheer, Vanilla Velvet, Yuzu, Spring Bouquet, and Pumpkin Pie Spice. They arrived in good condition and each fragrance was in its own ziplock bag with the fragrance name on it. They burned clean and all the way to the bottom. The scent throw differed, depending on the scent but I was able to smell them all in my office from just using one tealight at a time. Cheryl makes customer service her #1 Priority and to me that says a lot about a company and its products. I couldn't believe the prices for the tealights. Each 12-pack was only $3.50. I usually end up paying $10 and up for a dozen soy tealights. Shipping was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Cheryl's candles. You won't be disappointed.

Pros: Huge scent list, different shapes of tarts and candles, great CS!!
Cons: None

I got a bag of mini tarts in all different shapes from The Little Black Box Sample box and I really struck gold with this store. Cheryl has got to be one of the most nicest people I have ever dealt with online. Her customer service is reason to order alone. I was emailed throughout the whole process about shipping, when it shipped, she discussed scents with me, amazing!
I ordered the mini tart bags in Hydrangea, Citrus and Teakwood-this one has a phenomenal throw on it-Herbal Essence, McIntosh Apple, Bamboo Blossom and Lime Leaf and Lily. All the scents are strong on cold sniff. Everything came packed well and I got two sample tarts and a pen in a little bag with some chocolate. I can't wait to order some more from this lovely lady!!!

Pros: very strong throw, great pricing
Cons: sometimes shipping can be higher than most

Update 2/13/08
Cheryl continues to stay at the top of my list of candle makers. She communicates with you and strives to please. She has some of the best lemon bundt cake out there. Her tarts easily throw a minimum of 6 hours and sometimes as much as 12+. Her raspberry sorbet is fabulous as is her creme brulee which has chocolate notes and is the same creme brulee that Snowtop candles carried. It is difficult to find that particular one as most are the caramel/cream scent. I have also tried her soaps and they are highly scented. Fizzy pop if used in soap is so strong you can literally sit the soap out and it scents your whole bathroom. It is a very tangy citrusy scent. I have placed orders with Cheryl monthly over the past 10 months. No complaints:-)

Oh and if you enjoy the afternoon nosegasm...her lime sugar and lemon sugar will do you in LOL A pound of bits&pieces is $6.65...A POUND of wax to melt in your melters. love the bits&pieces!!

A few weeks ago I ordered 9 of Cheryl's 8 oz candles and 3 bags of her tarts. I have tried all but one of the candles. The ones I tried had a strong throw for such a small candle. I used them in a large room with tall ceilings that I usually use candles 16 oz or more to be able to detect the scent throw. She makes them STRONG! She also will e-mail and let you know what is the strongest or mildest and can decrease or increase the strength if you ask her to.Below is what I ordered:
Aylssum: I had never heard of this so did not know what to expect. It is a very pleasant sweet smelling floral scent. I will order this again in the future. Strong throw!
Bamboo: Exotic,Very strong throw. I am not crazy about greenery type smells but another friend who tried this one loves it so it might be your favorite. Give it a try!
Lime, leaf & Lilly: another greenery type smell. Not my favorite type scent but strong lingering throw. I detected no lime. Some will love this if you like greenery type smells.
Berry Creme Brule: My favorite! I have burned half of the candle and want to save the other half for another time because it is a wonderful tart berry with sweet true creme brule notes. Everyone who smelled this loved it!
Red Current: Like this too! Another intense throw. More sweet than tart!
Gardenia: Smells just like the real thing. Not as intense a throw as the others but reminds me of Michael Kors cologne for women.
Country Berry Hotcakes: a scent everyone loves and hers is equally great! I smell sweet berries, maple syrup and slight bakery pancake smell..Delicious
bluberry muffin: haven't tried yet! Cold smell is great
Hot baked apple: cold smell great. Hot smell just like the name!
Tarts:
Yazu: WONDERFUL! If you love true pink sweet grapefuit and exotic musk this is it! Strong! Put it in my kitchen burner and it lasted all day.
Cashmere bouquet: Interesting smell. Put it in my upstairs master bedroom burner and the scent lasted til the next day. Fragrant like a good woman's cologne. Good bedroom scent:-) I will order again!
Forget me Not: very fragrant floral scent. It had a moderate throw. I used 4 of the mini tarts to get a detectable throw in my kitchen. Wish it was stronger cause I like this one too! Cheryl did tell me it was not as strong as the others.
Packaging was top notch. All the way from California to NC. Shipping was higher than what I was quoted and paid but she said she wanted to make sure it arrived OK so she took care of the extra $4 charged which was very nice of her to do. She is looking into cheaper alternatives. She is aware of shipping costs and her product pricing is lower than most to balance it out. Give her a try, you won't be disappointed!
update: 5/6/07
second order of melts:
peach slices>true fruit smell. Strong! throw
passionate peach> a more exotic spicy peach (I preferred the peach slices!)
sweet cravings: a VS dupe. Strong and exact, sensual scent!
vanilla extract: smells just like the bakery flavoring in the bottle! Good throw as well
Strawberry: true juicy fruit moderate throw
berry creme brulee (my fav) Yummy & strong
country berry hotcakes: similar to berry creme brulee but with a definite pancake smell!
Lavender & Lilac were like most with a moderate throw. Cheryl is using flat rate shipping now and has added more to her extensive web site. Lots of cute gift ideas!
06/13/07
I ordered 3 of her 32 oz jars (item #303) one in Mango Papaya which is scrumptious as it melts and is a strong throwing scent. The other two I layered (chestnuts & brown sugar/country berry hotcakes/buttery gingerbread and the other is
Spring fling/ orange juice/alyssum. I expect them to be a great as all her other stuff! I am pleased that her customer service is consistently good!
UPDATE 2/20/08
Cheryl is no longer charging sales tax to buyers out of the state of California. I am glad her tax person cleared this up. She has always been super to work with and stays on top of all aspects of her business. The sales tax issue was addressed promptly so no more sales tax!!! Off to buy more...:-)
