I was surfing the internet in search of the elusive perfect scent products company when I came across the Texas Scentsations Banner. It was the name that grabbed me and, of course I had to click out of curiosity. Suddenly before me were all kinds of choices, and not the usual same old same old scent menu, but some that intrigued me and drew me in. What really caught my eye was the tart brittle. I had been searching for good tart brittle and I was wondering if this was going to be a disappointment as so many others had. Well, a small order, just of the tart brittle. It was very reasonably priced so why not? My first order consisted of Chestnuts and Brown Sugar (I like this scent and know what I want from it so I thought this would be a good test of the product), Amber Romance as it is another of my favorites, Waterfall as I wanted to try something fresh and this was a new one to me, and Cranberry and Citrus, another new one for me, but i am a lover of cranberry.
Well, within a few days I had my order. All the brittle in nice heavy drawstring bags, and more samples of things than I could shake a stick at. The cutest tarts and the most vibrant colors. i couldn't quit looking and sniffing. But it was time for The test. Everything smelled incredible cold, but applying heat would be where the proof in the pudding came in. So in my burner I plopped the pieces of Chestnuts and Brown sugar...for my real test. Now I have had some good wax products in this scent so I was ready for Charity to bring it on. I went about my business when all of a sudden the most incredible scent filled my entire house. I couldn't get enough and just sat for a while and enhaled. Now, many months later and many scents later, when I put this one on, as I promised myself I would never run out, I have to sit for a moment and inhale. It is the most incredible C&BS I have ever smelled. The first melt went over 14 hours and I knew there was a little gem in Texas that couldn't remain hidden any longer.
As I made my way through the other scents I was not even once disappointed. The Texas Tumbleweed just blew me away and I really love that scent as it is different, and has a freshness and beauty about it that I wasn't expecting.
Many orders and conversations later, I am continually amazed by what Charity can do with scents. There is always something new and she is also very willing to work with you to create a special scent. I had asked her to do a Chocolate Amber dupe for me and it is absolutely incredible with just the slightest hint of chocolate in the sensual amber that even those who aren't wild about chocolate will love. The throw and the longevity of melt is superb.
I haven't stopped with just tarts and brittle. She makes the most amazing soy pillars. This is coming from someone who is really not a pillar fan, but hers are worth taking the time to hug (and don;t forget to do this, they need it). She sent me one in Violet Lime to try and I have never had a Violet scent come alive as this one does and then there is that nice tart zing that comes in and you just keep coming back for more.
I also love her bath and body products as they are superb, but this is supposed to be a candle review...just don't overlook them.
Did I buy again....Oh my yes, over and over and over. There is always something new on the sight in products and scents and she has terrific sales. Sign up for her newsletter and you will get a 20% discount on your first order over $10.
Customer service, and i mean good customer service is a main priority of Charity's. She solicits honest feedback. So if something isn't what you think it should be talk to her about it and I bet she will fix it just fine.

I have ordered quite a few times over the past few months from Charity and never been disappointed. I love her celtic spice,violet lime(I have this in body spray & lotion..delightful),vanilla bean noel,cinnamon buns,creme brulee, lime margarita,lemon merigue,pink sugar,lemon sugar. My all time fave is celtic spice with a close second in pink sugar. Very strong and lasting throws from little tarts. I have gotten her heart tarts and lil round tarts(which are not little) I absolutely love her body sprays and the celtic spice room spray is lovely. (Did I forget to mention I love her celtic spice LOLOLOL) She has great sales so sign up for her newsletter and she is available to answer questions via e-mail or her phone number which is on her site. Give her a try. You won't be disappointed and you will definitely return again and again:-)

Ok I just received more new scents that are winners. I don't know how Charity manages to make her scents throw and last so long but I guess it is her love of wax products and her desire to make the strongest , long lasting candle /tart with a huge throw you can't beat. I ordered a scent I was not sure I'd like, a spa scent called capri olivo. OMG that scent goes and goes. After 12 hrs I dumped it not because it was done but I wanted to try some of her other scents. I absolutely love her violet lime. The tarts are superb and I still am enjoying my body spray from my last order. Love her cinnamon sugar..WOW , reminds me of the icing you smell on the top of a cinnabon from the mall. She has a great new scent coming when her site reopens. Lime Cotton Candy. Love the combination of the sweet throw in cotton candy(like you smell at the fair or at a school carnival) with the tartness of a sweet lime. Both scents compliment each other:-) Orchard dreams kicks butt (in a good way) very strong & lasting. Imagine walking through an orchard and the goodness of the juicy ripe fruit ready for picking..What gets me is how one of these little tarts travels into several rooms but I am thrilled! I received testers in Minute Maid and just as the name implies, it is dead on. It can't get more real then this unless you are drinking a glass of minute maid OJ. Smells as good & refreshing as it tastes!Another new scent is lemon sugar & candied violets. It is similar to violet lime but a tad milder. Charity has come out with Lush dupes which I know many love. You won't be disappointed if Lush is a fav of yours. Make sure you check her site within the next few days. She has been redoing her site and when she reopens will be having a specials you don't want to miss! Charity is always available by phone and loves feedback and questions. Many raves on the Candlefind forum from her frequent buyers!
