Pros: strong scents, cute artwork on labels
Cons: strong scents

Yes, it was not a mistake. I did mean to say that it was both a positive and a negative attribute of this brand to have such strongly scented candles. All you need to keep in mind is that these fragrances are very true to life and strong. As long as you choose a fragrance you really enjoy- you'll love your candles.

I have bought several of their candles and my absolute favorites are Apple Pie and Granny Smith Apple folk art. They are so great smelling to have burning anywhere in your home or outside on your patios.

I also have bought several of there "homebaked" candles with scents like Maple Bar, White Cake Donut and Chocolate Chip Cookie. I generally think these are good candles but I had to throw away the Maple Bar candle because it was too much for everyone. My fiance and every single guest stated it was too strong and that it smelled as though I had broken a bottle of syrup. On several occasions, I was even asked to extingush it.

In general, the prices are very good and I've gotten them both from their on-line store and at home furnishings section of a local department store called, "Century 21." (If you're from NY or NJ, you know Century 21.)

All-in-all, I would recommend this company because they sell long-lasting highly scented candles at a decent price. Just choose your fragrance wisely.

Pros: Pretty candle tins with chunks of decorative wax on the candle surface.
Cons: My scent has a fake,

I was in Kohl's one day picking up some On Sale home decor items when I noticed that For Every Body Candles were on sale...it was like $7.50 or something for one of their large 16oz. candle tins. I've been aware of this brand for a while and just had the feeling they were nice smelling candles because I've seen them available all over online. i decided to pick up their Citrus tin to test it out.

I just burned the candle tonight for the first time and am actually disappointed with it. My pet peeve when it comes to candles is when a candle has that fake, strong, air freshener quality to it. Do you know what I mean? It just doesn't smell authentic...it smells fake. Unfortunately, this is how my Citrus candle smells. I'm very surprised by this because I had the feeling these were awesome smelling candles. I guess since I love Kohls so much, I just assumed they would sell awesome smelling candles.

My Citrus scent definitely has a strong scent throw, but if you're into really authentic smelling candles, I do not recommend them. Of course, I've only tried one scent, so I guess I can't completely rule out this company, but usually when one scent from a candle company has this fake quality to it, they all have it. I will not be buying anymore candles from For Every Body. :-( I am a very picky candle lover when it comes to the authenticity of candle scents, so if you're not as picky as I am, you might like these, but it's not for me. I've burned other brands that smell SO much better and definitely more real like Pacifica, White Barn Candle and others. Onto the next brand!

EDIT ON NOVEMBER 3, 2005: I tried one of their Sugar Cookie candles and have reviewed it for you on the site. Visit our review section using the link below, them click on my review section and you'll find the link to the Sugar Cookie review.

Sorry for all the click instructions, but the link is way too long to post here...it would mess up the design of this page.

Pros: Good price, attractive packaging.
Cons: Some scents seem off, some too sweet.

I have one scent that I buy from this company, which is Lemon Crisp. I love it. The Apple Pie is pretty good.
The strawberry peach cobbler was OK, but I won't buy it again. The blackberry cobbler was too sweet.
The most recent scent I bought was Fresh Lime in a tin. It smelled pretty good before burning, but EWWW!!!....when burned, very yucky, artificial and a bit chemical...I will probably end up throwing it away.
I purchase these from Kohl's, and when I'm in the store, I usually scan the shelf for the Lemon Crisp, it appears that will remain the only scent I buy from them.

Pros: pretty packaging
Cons: scents

I bought a Angelfood Cake candle by this company, does not have much scent at all. Looks nice though.

Pros: Variety, price, great throw
Cons: Some scents too strong

I love this brand because of the variety and availability of it. I buy them at Mervyn's and Kohl's, and usually get them on sale so the price is good.

My absolute favorite is the Cinnamon Vanilla. It smells so great and reminds me of rice pudding for some reason! I also love the apple pie, blueberry muffinand chocolate chip cookie scents. The cinnamon toast was too much for me and the poundcake not strong enough.

So.... bottom line is that most are good, some too strong and some too light. For the price though, you won't be out too much if you get something you don't like!
