Yankee Candles have very authentic scents! They vary in terms of throw -- some of the stronger ones include Autumn Leaves, Dune Grass, and others. I highly recommend using an illuma lid. It prevents sooting and makes the candle burn beautifully, although even with a lid the candles can still tunnel sometimes. If you don't mind doing the occasional "candle surgery" to push wax from the sides into the melt pool, this always helps. Also, you can almost always use a coupon!

candles tunnel, not strong as they used to be

Yankee started me on this craze but they've been slowly going downhill as far as quality. I wish their candles were double wick and stronger. They are still worth buying if you can catch some good sales but full price no way.
